Sports Physical Therapy in Winston-Salem, NC

Get back to lifting, running, and competing without pain holding you back

One-on-one care from orthopedic specialists who train themselves and understand what it takes to stay in the gym, hit PRs, and keep doing what you love for decades.

What happens when you ignore the pain or get the wrong advice

You modify every workout

Not training at the level you want, you're just working around the problem.

The pain keeps coming back

Short-term relief doesn't fix the mechanics, so you're stuck in the same injury cycle.

You're told to stop doing what you love

Generic advice like "just rest" or "you can't do CrossFit or run anymore" doesn't help you stay active for life.

An ongoing hip pain issue had me worried ahead of a hiking trip to Banff. No other doc or PT had been able to provide relief. I had given up but needed help if I was going to enjoy my trip the way I envisioned. In only 5 weeks of working with Dr. Levi (tight timeline for what I was trying to accomplish) he correctly diagnosed and resolved my issue. I hiked 40+ miles at 8000 elevation without pain. If you are looking for a PT who is focused, caring and knowledgeable call Dr. Levi!

From the times of Aristotle, Plato, and Socrates. All the way through the times of Descartes, Kant, Voltaire, and Hume. Mankind’s greatest minds have tirelessly pondered one question. What is our purpose? Why are we here?

I too had spent many lonesome sleepless nights staring at a motionless fan beset underneath a dark ceiling asking myself the same question, “Why am I here? What worthwhile purpose could my small insignificant life possibly have?”. I found my answer to that question in June of 2016. I was a naive 1st year PT student at Marshall University walking into my first day of anatomy dissection lab. At the time Levi was a 3rd year student and was a teaching assistant for the 1st year anatomy class. When my eyes first fell upon his physical figure I could not believe what they were seeing. I rubbed them once, he was still there. I rubbed them a second time, he was still there, my eyes did not deceive me. I was too nervous to speak to him so I asked my best friend Tim to ask Levi what his max bench was. When Tim reported back to me that it was over 3 plates I fainted and blamed it on the scent of formaldehyde.

After getting to know Levi more I came to realize that his physical supremacy was in fact not even his greatest asset. For it as impressive as it was, it paled in comparison to his mind. The sheer grit, determination, and resilience he demonstrated as a leader and mentor was awe-inspiring. And over the course of our relationship my questioning of my existence was answered. For I knew if I could be half the man, scholar, leader, and friend that Levi was, then my life will have had meaning when all is said and done. Levi does not just a physical therapist for bodily ailments, he is a therapist of the soul. I fully endorse and would entrust Levi with every ounce of my being and with the highest degree of respect and admiration to provide the highest quality of care to any and all who are lucky enough to cross his path.

Frequently Asked Questions

Have questions about how sports physical therapy at Kinetic PR works? Here are answers to what athletes ask most.

Will you make me stop training?

No. We help you adjust your training so you can keep doing what you love while we address the root cause. Most people continue training throughout the process—we just modify load, volume, or positions as needed.

How long until I'm back to full training?

It depends on your injury, training history, and how your body responds. Some people notice improvement in a few sessions, while others need more time to rebuild mechanics and capacity. We'll give you a clear timeline after your evaluation.

Why choose cash-pay PT instead of using insurance?

Insurance-based PT often limits session length and forces you to see different providers. Cash-pay lets you work one-on-one with the same specialist for as long as it takes, with sessions built around your goals instead of billing codes.

Do you only work with competitive athletes?

No. We work with anyone who trains consistently and wants to keep training for life—whether you're competing in CrossFit, training for a marathon, or just want to lift heavy without pain.

What should I bring to my first visit?

Just yourself and any training logs or videos that help us understand your goals and current routine. We'll handle the rest during your evaluation.
