People who train consistently trust us to help them get out of pain and back to full training without the generic advice that doesn't work for active adults.

Levi is a very knowledgeable PT. Came to him with hip/knee pain from years of military service and hard physical demands of competitive CrossFit. With consistent effort on his and my end I am back to full functionality. I’ve tried various forms of treatments for pain relief. PT work with Levi is the only thing I found that wasn’t a band-aid, but an actual fix for my problems. Highly recommended!

I have been working with Dr. Lauren for almost three months to rehab my shoulder after I had come to the end of the road with my orthopedic physician who only wanted to discuss surgical options. Upon suggestion from a personal trainer, I sought out the possibilities of doing physical therapy to help rehab my increasingly frozen shoulder. Meeting with Dr. Lauren on the first visit, it was clear that they were very serious about PT and achieving positive outcomes. After a few minutes of discussion we began the process which included dry needling and focused exercises. Home exercises were assigned and I worked on my own three times a week through the workouts and the progression over the past 10 weeks has exceeded my expectations. I would say the issues are 80% resolved and still continuing to progress. Couldn't be happier with the outcome and the guidance and expertise provided by Dr. Lauren. If you have had a similar experience where you are only suggested surgery as an option as a possible fix, please consider a consult with Kinetic Performance and Rehab. I am very thankful for their service and knowledge and enthusiastically recommend!

Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions from Winston Salem athletes about working with Kinetic PR.

Do I have to stop training while I work with you?

No. We help you adjust your training so you can keep moving while we address the underlying mechanics. Most people continue training throughout the process with modifications based on where they are in recovery.

How long does it take to get back to full training?

It depends on your injury, training history, and goals. We follow the I3 Model, calming pain, fixing mechanics, and building performance capacity, so timelines vary. We'll give you a realistic picture during your evaluation.

Do you take insurance?

We're in-network with Aetna and provide superbills for out-of-network coverage. We also accept HSA/FSA and offer payment plans. Most people find the one-on-one care and sport-specific approach worth the investment.

What makes you different from other PT clinics in Winston Salem?

We're Orthopedic Clinical Specialists who train ourselves and understand what it takes to lift, run, and compete consistently. You get the same provider every visit, and we focus on mechanics and performance, not just symptom relief.

How far do you travel to see patients?

We're located in West Winston Salem at the historic 936 building on Burke St. Athletes come to us from Ardmore, Mount Tabor, Clemmons, Lewisville, and other nearby areas. Everything happens at our clinic, we don't offer telehealth.
