FAQs

Common questions about working with us and what to expect from performance-focused physical therapy.

Will you make me stop training?

No. We help you adjust your training so you can keep moving while we address the pain and mechanics behind it. Most people reduce volume or intensity temporarily, but stopping completely is never our goal.

How long does it take to get back to full training?

It depends on the injury, your training history, and how your body responds. Some people feel significantly better in 2-3 weeks, while others need 6-12 weeks to fully rebuild capacity. We'll give you a realistic timeline after your evaluation.

Do you take insurance?

We're in-network with Aetna. For all other insurance, we're out-of-network and provide superbills you can submit for potential reimbursement. We also accept HSA and FSA, and offer payment plans for cash-pay visits.

What makes this different from regular PT?

You'll work one-on-one with the same provider every visit. We're Orthopedic Clinical Specialists who train ourselves and understand the demands of CrossFit, running, and barbell sports. Your programming is built around your real training goals, not generic exercises. Your average PT sees a maybe a couple highly active people a week. We've managed over 1000 rehab plans for go-getter's just like you.

Do I need a referral?

No. North Carolina allows direct access to physical therapy, so you can schedule with us without a physician referral.
